An interesting issue is to understand the origin of outer rings in non-barred galaxies. These rings are usually observed in barred disk galaxies, and are associated to the main dynamical resonances. Our analysis combined for the first time the study of the stellar and gaseous component using a multispectral approach: HI, CCD multiband photometry and Hα spectroscopy of a sample of 4 non-barred galaxies with outer rings. A bidimensional velocity field is requiered to be combined with long-slit data, for a precise determination of the main dynamical resonances.
