Background

I completed a Bachelor degree in Physics at the University of Cantabria and obtained a Master in Particle Physics and the Cosmos at the Institute of Physics of Cantabria (IFCA), going through the branch of cosmology. My bachelor thesis was centred on the estimation of the kinematic dipole with simulations of surveys from the Square Kilometre Array Observatory (SKAO). In my master thesis, I used machine learning techniques for a component separation of diffuse foregrounds in CMB polarisation data.

Currently, I am working on my PhD at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC), under the supervision of Lourdes Verdes-Montenegro and Julián Garrido. The project is focused on the remote visualisation of multi dimensional Big Data in preparation of SKAO. Being part of the AMIGA group, I will also participate in the Spanish effort for the development of SKAO and to the analysis of scientific data from SKAO precursors.
