Background

I got my B.S. degree in Physics and Astrophysics at the Universidad de La Laguna (ULL) in February 2009. During my studies at the University I did my final degree work under the supervision of Ismael Pérez Fournon (IAC) about a multiwavelength data base and selection of distant galaxies in the HerMES project using VO Tools.

Since I joined in AMIGA in September 2009 I'm working in my PhD Thesis under the supervision of Jack Sulentic, Simon Verley and Gilles Bergond with a Ministry of Science and Education FPI Grant.
My work at the IAA is focused on the analysis of the environment of AMIGA isolated galaxies using SDSS.

I have read my Master Thesis as a pilot study in the context of the PhD's project with tittle "A search for neighbours around isolated galaxies using the SDSS" in December 2010.
